Summary:
Mr.
Sartain’s twenty-year career with the Department
of Energy at a large research facility with 12 years as
the Supervisor for the Installation and Maintenance Department
has created a depth of knowledge in complex mechanical,
electrical, and process systems seldom realized in a single
individual.
Mr.
Sartain has had high level training in: Boiler Maintenance,
Air Compressor Application, Industrial Bearing Installation,
Confined Space Entry, Crane Rigging and Operation, Programmable
Logic Controller Application, Pump Maintenance and Installation,
and relief Valve Maintenance and Installation. In the
course of his activities he also received training in
Chemical Handling and Industrial Fire Fighting.
Mr.
Sartain’s involvement in the installation and testing
of high and low pressure piping systems for use with water,
natural gas, propane, fuel oil, oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen
systems provides a trained eye in the assessment, design,
check out, and testing of these and other systems. Coupling
this expertise with the responsibility for the maintaining
of test and office buildings for this DoE complex allows
Mr. Sartain to quickly assess any facility efficiently
and accurately, providing a trained eye in regards to
system suitability for upgrade/modification and maintainability.
Mr.
Sartain’s hands on experiences cover a myriad of
building support systems including: HVAC, electrical,
plumbing, process piping, fuel transfer, high and low
pressure piping, Fire Alarm, Security, P&ID and other
systems.
Mr.
Sartain heads the ORA Assessment team for the Field Services
division providing Field Assessments for design purposes
as well as for owner decision making processes.
