Professional Summary:

Mr. Finney’s experience covers a broad range of computer aided drafting and design programs including: AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, Rebis/Auto Plant, Electrics, Designer and Multi Steel and more. His expertise has been instrumental in the development of the design and Cad methodology utilized within ORA.

Mr. Finney’s design experience prior to joining ORA comes from supporting engineers with the Sverdrup Corporation. His involvement in complex plumbing, process piping, structural steel assemblies and machine component design allows Mr. Finney to rapidly spool up any project. Being involved in the fieldwork activity on a multiplicity of projects allows for a very in-depth take on the modification of existing structures as well as applying a common sense approach to new construction based upon field observations. Oliver-Rhoads & Associates, Inc. has drawn upon this experience to document complex machine systems such as motor drive components and complex gear assemblies.

Mr. Finney continues to be very instrumental in maintaining his lead role in developing and maintaining the symbols, notes, and legends used by the Mechanical Department.

Since joining this firm Mr. Finney has been primarily involved in the plumbing and process piping arena with secondary emphasis in HVAC design and cad production.

Mr. Finney’s design experience covers a broad spectrum of building mechanical systems.
